Kent is a county in England, commonly referred to as the Garden of England due to its abundance of orchards and hop gardens. It is located in the south east of England and is bordered by East Sussex, Surrey, Greater London, Essex and the English Channel. Kent is the most populous county in the South East region and has a population of over 1.7 million people. The county town is Maidstone and other major towns include Canterbury, Dover, Folkestone, Margate and Rochester.
