Gandhi Garment is a term used to refer to the traditional clothing worn by Mahatma Gandhi. The two most common garments associated with him are the DHOTI and the SARI. The DHOTI is a long piece of cloth, usually white, that is wrapped around the waist and legs. The SARI is a long piece of cloth, usually brightly colored, that is draped over the shoulder and around the body. Both garments are still worn today in India and other parts of South Asia.
