Polo is a game with chukkers, which are periods of play that last for seven minutes each. It is a team sport played on horseback between two teams of four players. The objective of the game is to score goals by using a long-handled mallet to hit a small white ball through the opposing team's goalposts. The game is traditionally played on a grass field, but can also be played on sand or other surfaces.
