Jon Snow is a major character in the popular fantasy series Game of Thrones. He is portrayed by actor Kit Harington and is the illegitimate son of Ned Stark. Jon is a member of the Night's Watch, a military order that guards the Wall, a massive barrier of ice that separates the Seven Kingdoms from the wild lands beyond. He eventually becomes the Lord Commander of the Night's Watch and leads them in the fight against the White Walkers.
