The G8 Member term refers to the eight countries that make up the Group of Eight, an international forum for the governments of the world's major economies. The countries are Italy (5 letters), France (6 letters), USA (3 letters), Japan, Germany, United Kingdom, Canada and Russia. These countries represent the largest advanced economies in the world and account for around two-thirds of the world's gross domestic product.
