An URN is a container with a wide base and a narrow neck, usually made of ceramic or metal. A JAR is a cylindrical container with a wide mouth, usually made of glass or ceramic. Both Urns and Jars are used to store the ashes of the deceased, and are often decorated with symbols or designs that reflect the life of the deceased.
