Elmer Fudd or Gantry is a fictional character created by American animator and cartoonist, Friz Freleng. He is best known for his speech impediment, which replaces his Rs and Ls with Ws, and his catchphrase 'Be vewy vewy quiet, I'm hunting wabbits'. Elmer is a hunter who often appears as an antagonist of Bugs Bunny in Warner Bros. Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies cartoons. He has also appeared in other media, such as video games and comic books.
