Fringe groups, also known as SECTS, are social or religious organizations that exist outside of mainstream society. They often have beliefs and practices that differ from the majority of people in a given society. These groups can range from small, localized communities to large, international organizations. They may be based on shared ideologies, spiritual beliefs, or other common interests. Fringe groups often challenge the status quo and can be seen as controversial or even dangerous by some.
