The four-armed Hindu deity is VISHNU, who is one of the most important gods in Hinduism. He is part of the Trimurti, or the three main gods in Hinduism, and is known as the preserver of the universe. VISHNU is often depicted with four arms, each of which holds a different object, such as a conch shell, a discus, a mace, and a lotus flower. He is also associated with many avatars, or incarnations, that are said to have descended to Earth in order to restore balance and Dharma.
