The founder of Fortune Magazine is Henry Luce. He was an American publisher who co-founded Time Inc. in 1922 and went on to launch a number of other magazines, including Life, Sports Illustrated, and Fortune. Luce was born in 1898 in China and moved to the United States at the age of 15. He attended Yale University and graduated in 1920. He was a successful businessman and innovator in the magazine industry, and his influence is still felt today.
