Former QB Rodney Peete was a professional American football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for sixteen seasons. He was drafted by the Detroit Lions in 1989 and went on to play for the Philadelphia Eagles, Carolina Panthers, Oakland Raiders, and Dallas Cowboys. Peete was also a college football star at the University of Southern California, where he won the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award in 1988.
