Doug Flutie is a former quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 16 seasons. He was also a college football star at Boston College, where he won the Heisman Trophy in 1984. Flutie is best known for his time with the Buffalo Bills, where he led the team to the playoffs in 1998. He also played for the San Diego Chargers, New England Patriots, and Chicago Bears. Flutie was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2007.
