Sammy Sosa was a former Cubs slugger who played for the Chicago Cubs from 1992 to 2004. He was known for his power hitting and was one of the most popular players in the MLB during his time with the Cubs. He was a six-time All-Star, won the 1998 National League MVP award, and was the first player to hit 60 or more home runs in three consecutive seasons. He also holds the record for most home runs hit in a single season by a foreign-born player.
