Football receiver is a position in American football, usually referred to as a wide receiver or simply a receiver. The job of the receiver is to catch passes thrown by the quarterback and run with the ball. The receiver must have good hands, speed, agility, and the ability to read the defense. The END is the last player on the offensive line and is responsible for blocking defensive players from getting to the quarterback. The END must be strong and have good technique to protect the quarterback.
