Mimi Sheraton is a food writer and author who has written several books about food and dining. She is best known for her book The New York Times Guide to Dining Out in New York City, which was published in 1977. She has also written for numerous publications, including Gourmet, Bon Appetit, and The New Yorker. Sheraton has been awarded the James Beard Award for Excellence in Food Writing and the International Association of Culinary Professionals' Lifetime Achievement Award.
