Ian Fleming was a British author and journalist best known for his James Bond series of spy novels. He wrote 14 Bond novels and two short story collections, as well as the children's story Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Fleming also wrote non-fiction works, including an autobiography and a biography of British Prime Minister Winston Churchill. He is considered one of the most influential authors of the 20th century.
