Flat Land is a term used to describe a landscape that is relatively level and featureless. The term can be used to describe a variety of landforms, such as prairies, plains, and mesas. A PRAIRIE is a large area of flat or rolling grassland, typically in the Midwest of the United States. Plains are similarly flat areas of land, but they are usually covered with low vegetation. A mesa is an elevated area of land with a flat top and steep sides. All three of these landforms can be considered part of the Flat Land landscape.
