Eero Saarinen was a Finnish architect who is renowned for his modernist designs. He is best known for designing the St. Louis Gateway Arch, the TWA Flight Center at JFK Airport, and the Dulles International Airport. He also designed furniture, textiles, and sculptures. Saarinen was born in Finland in 1910 and moved to the United States in 1923. He studied architecture at Yale University and went on to become one of the most influential architects of the 20th century.
