Film critic Roger EBERT was an American film critic, journalist, and author. He was the first film critic to win a Pulitzer Prize for Criticism in 1975. He was also known for his television programs, such as At the Movies with Gene Siskel and Roger EBERT, which he co-hosted with fellow film critic Gene Siskel. He wrote more than 20 books on film and popular culture, and was a member of the Chicago Film Critics Association. He passed away in 2013.
