Irina Slutskaya is a Russian figure skater who won two World Championships and seven European Championships. She is the first female skater to land a triple lutz-triple loop combination in competition. She was the first Russian woman to win the World Figure Skating Championships and the first to win two consecutive titles. She also won the bronze medal at the 2002 Winter Olympics. Slutskaya retired from competitive skating in 2006.
