Tara Lipinski is a former figure skater who won the 1998 Olympic gold medal in ladies' singles. She is also the youngest person to ever win an individual event at the Winter Olympics, having done so at the age of 15. Lipinski was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and began skating at the age of six. She is a two-time World Champion, a two-time Grand Prix Final Champion, and a three-time U.S. National Champion. Lipinski has since retired from competitive skating and is now a television commentator for figure skating events.
