A CADRE is a small group of experienced personnel who are used to train and lead new recruits. GIS stands for 'ground infantry SOLDIERS, ' which are SOLDIERS who fight on the ground. Finally, SOLDIERS are members of the armed forces who are trained to fight in combat.
