Feudal Flunky is a term used to describe the three-tiered social hierarchy of the Middle Ages. The top tier was made up of the nobility, followed by the ESNE, a class of free peasants who held land in exchange for military service. The lowest tier was made up of the Serfs, peasants bound to the land and obligated to provide labor and services to their lord. Retainers were servants of the nobility who provided personal services such as cooking, cleaning, and other household duties.
