The term FELINE MUSICAL refers to the musical CATS, which is based on T.S. Eliot's Old Possum's Book of Practical CATS. It is a musical composed by Andrew Lloyd Webber and was first performed in 1981. The musical follows a tribe of CATS called the Jellicles who must decide which one of them will ascend to the Heaviside Layer and be reborn into a new life.
