Facial bones are a group of bones that make up the face and skull. The JAW, or mandible, is the largest facial bone and is located at the bottom of the face. It is responsible for movement of the lower JAW and helps to form the shape of the face. The vomer is a thin, flat bone located in the nasal cavity and is part of the ethmoid bone. It helps to form the nasal septum and separates the nasal cavity into two parts. Together, the JAW and vomer are two of the most important facial bones.
