Eyelid Ailment is a broad term that encompasses a variety of conditions that affect the eyelids. Two common ailments are Ptosis and STYE. Ptosis is a condition in which the upper eyelid droops, sometimes impairing vision. It can be caused by a variety of factors, including aging, trauma, or neurological disorders. STYE is an infection of the eyelid caused by bacteria, usually resulting in redness, swelling, and pain. Treatment for both conditions typically involves antibiotics and/or surgery.
