Eye misalignment, also known as STRABISMUS, is a condition in which the eyes are not properly aligned with each other. It can cause one eye to turn inwards, outwards, upwards or downwards, while the other eye looks straight ahead. STRABISMUS can occur at any age and can be caused by a variety of factors, including genetic predisposition, neurological problems, and eye muscle imbalances. Treatment for STRABISMUS may include glasses, eye exercises, surgery, or a combination of these methods.
