An extended period is a length of time that is longer than usual. The term can be broken down into four parts: EON (3 letters), EPOCH (5 letters), AEON (4 letters), and COMMA (5 letters). EON is a very long period of time, usually millions of years. An EPOCH is a shorter period of time, usually lasting thousands of years. AEON is similar to EON, but it is even longer, often lasting billions of years. Finally, a COMMA is a much shorter period of time, usually lasting only a few seconds or minutes.
