The EVITA lyricist is Tim RICE, who is an English author, lyricist, and Academy Award, Tony Award, and Grammy Award-winning composer. He is best known for his collaborations with Andrew Lloyd Webber, which include the musicals Jesus Christ Superstar, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and Evita. RICE has also collaborated with other composers, such as Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson of ABBA on Chess, and Alan Menken on Aladdin.
