The European mountain range is composed of three major ranges: the ALPS, the Pyrenees, and the Sudeten. The ALPS are a large mountain range located in central Europe, stretching from Austria and Slovenia in the east, through Italy, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, and Germany to France in the west. The Pyrenees are a mountain range located along the border between Spain and France. The Sudeten are a mountain range located in the Czech Republic and Poland. All three mountain ranges are part of the larger European mountain system.
