The English Conservative is a political party in the United Kingdom, commonly referred to as the Tories. The term TORY is derived from the Middle Irish word 'tóraidhe', which means 'OUTLAW'. The English Conservative Party has been in existence since the late 17th century and is the oldest political party in the United Kingdom. It is currently the second largest party in the House of Commons and is led by Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
