The English Channel is a body of water that separates the southern coast of England from the northern coast of France. It is also known as 'The Channel' and is approximately 350 miles long and 150 miles wide at its widest point. The BBC, or British Broadcasting Corporation, is a public service broadcaster in the United Kingdom that provides television, radio, and online services. It is commonly referred to as 'Beeb' and was founded in 1922.
