Mensa is an international society for people with high IQs. It is a non-profit organization open to anyone who has achieved a score within the top two percent of any recognized IQ test. Mensa was founded in 1946 in Oxford, England, and now has over 130, 000 members in more than 100 countries. It provides a forum for intellectual exchange among its members and promotes research into intelligence and related topics.
