Electrical resistance measure is a term used to describe the measurement of the opposition to the flow of an electric current. The two most common terms used to describe this are ohmage (6 letters) and ohm (3 letters). Ohmage is a unit of electrical resistance equal to the resistance between two points on a conductor when a potential difference of one volt, applied to these points, produces a current of one ampere. Ohm is the SI unit of electrical resistance, named after German physicist Georg Ohm.
