A political CAMPAIGN is a coordinated effort to influence the decision making process of a particular group. Canvassing is the process of going door-to-door to collect information or promote a cause. Polls are surveys used to measure public opinion on a particular issue. Oration is the act of delivering a speech in a formal or impressive manner. A CRUSADE is a vigorous CAMPAIGN for a cause or reform. Stumping is the practice of traveling from place to place to make speeches in support of a candidate or cause. Lastly, stamping is the practice of affixing a STAMP to a document to indicate that a fee has been paid.
