Albert Einstein was an emigre, famously known for his contributions to the field of physics. He was born in Germany in 1879 and moved to Switzerland in 1895, where he eventually obtained Swiss citizenship. He then moved to the United States in 1933, where he lived until his death in 1955. His work on the theory of relativity and other scientific discoveries have made him one of the most influential scientists of all time.
