Osiris is an Egyptian god of the underworld, associated with death, resurrection, and fertility. He is often depicted as a green-skinned man with a pharaoh's beard, wearing a crown with two ostrich feathers, and holding a crook and flail. He is the son of Geb and Nut, and the husband of Isis. Osiris is believed to have been the first ruler of Egypt, and his cult was one of the most important in ancient Egypt.
