The Egyptian Peninsula is made up of two main regions, the SINAI and the PHAROS. The SINAI is a triangular peninsula in the northeastern part of Egypt, located between the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea. It is bordered by Israel, the Gaza Strip, and the Suez Canal. The PHAROS is an island off the coast of Alexandria, Egypt. It was once home to the famous Lighthouse of Alexandria, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
