The Egyptian Monument is a term used to describe two of the most iconic structures in Egypt: the OBELISK and the PYRAMID. An OBELISK is a tall, four-sided, tapering monument which ends in a PYRAMID-like shape at the top. It was often used as a sign of divine power or a memorial to a Pharaoh. The PYRAMID is a large structure with a square base and four triangular sides that meet at a point. It was used as a tomb for Pharaohs and their families. Both the OBELISK and the PYRAMID are symbols of ancient Egyptian culture and are still popular tourist attractions today.
