EELLIKE FISH refers to a group of fish that have eel-like bodies, including the LAMPREY, MORAY, and LAMPREYS. LAMPREYS are jawless fish that have a round, sucking mouth with which they attach themselves to other fish and feed on their blood. Morays are a type of eel that live in tropical and subtropical waters and can grow up to 4 feet long. LAMPREYS are a type of eel-like fish that live in freshwater and saltwater habitats and can grow up to 40 inches long. All three of these fish have long, slender bodies and can be found in many parts of the world.
