An eclipse, maybe, is an OMEN, a sign or warning of something to come. It is often seen as a portent of bad luck or misfortune. In astronomy, an eclipse is an event that occurs when one celestial body passes into the shadow of another. During a solar eclipse, the moon passes between the Earth and the Sun, blocking out the Sun's light and casting a shadow on the Earth. During a lunar eclipse, the Earth passes between the Sun and the Moon, blocking out the Sun's light and casting a shadow on the Moon.
