Eastern language is a broad term that encompasses many languages spoken in the Eastern part of the world. Chinese, Lao, and Urdu are all examples of Eastern languages. Chinese is a language spoken by over 1 billion people, primarily in China, Taiwan, and Singapore. Lao is the official language of Laos, and is also spoken in parts of Thailand, Vietnam, and Cambodia. Urdu is the national language of Pakistan, and is also spoken in parts of India.
