Eastern Belief is a term that encompasses a variety of spiritual and philosophical beliefs, including Taoism. Taoism is a Chinese philosophy based on the teachings of Lao Tzu in the 6th century BCE. It emphasizes living in harmony with the Tao, or the natural order of the universe, and following the PATH of least resistance. Taoism also emphasizes the importance of balance and moderation in all aspects of life. The term Tao, which is three letters, is derived from the Chinese word for 'WAY' or 'PATH'.
