Victoria is an East African lake located in the northern part of Tanzania and the southern part of Uganda. It is the largest lake in Africa and the second largest freshwater lake in the world. It is also known as Lake Nyanza or Lake VICTORIA Nyanza. The lake has a surface area of approximately 68, 800 square kilometers and is fed by several rivers, including the Kagera River. It is an important source of fish for local communities and supports a wide variety of wildlife.
