Earth, Wind and Fire is an American band formed in Chicago in 1969. The band has won six Grammy Awards and four American Music Awards. Their music incorporates elements of funk, soul, jazz, disco, pop, rock, Latin, and African music. The band's name is derived from the three elements of nature: Earth, Wind, and Fire. The band has released a number of hit singles, including 'September, ' 'Boogie Wonderland, ' and 'After the Love Has Gone.'
