The Eagle Constellation, also known as AQUILA, is a group of stars located in the northern sky. It is one of the 88 modern constellations recognized by the International Astronomical Union. AQUILA is Latin for eagle and it is named after the bird of prey due to its shape resembling an eagle with outstretched wings. The brightest star in the constellation is Altair, which is one of the closest stars to Earth.
