Dutch money is the currency used in the Netherlands. It is divided into two main denominations, Florins (7 letters) and Euros (5 letters). Florins are the older form of Dutch currency and have been in use since the Middle Ages. They are still accepted as legal tender in the Netherlands, although they are no longer printed. Euros are the more modern form of Dutch currency and have been in circulation since 2002. They are the official currency of the European Union and are accepted in all member states.
