A dull person is someone who is uninteresting, lacking in intelligence, and generally not very exciting. The term can be broken down into four words: NERD, BORE, DRIP, and CLOD. A NERD is someone who is socially awkward and overly focused on intellectual pursuits. A BORE is someone who is tedious and tiresome to be around. A DRIP is someone who is dull and uninspiring. Finally, a CLOD is someone who is clumsy and slow-witted. All of these words together describe a dull person.
