Dressage Pace is a term used in equestrian sports to describe the different gaits of a horse. The two main dressage paces are the TROT and the GAIT. The TROT is a two-beat diagonal GAIT in which the horse moves its legs in diagonal pairs, with the hind legs moving forward at the same time as the front legs. The GAIT is a four-beat lateral GAIT in which the horse moves its legs in lateral pairs, with the hind legs moving forward at the same time as the front legs.
