Dr. Seuss, for one, is the pen name of Theodor Seuss Geisel, an American children's author, poet, and cartoonist. He is best known for his work writing and illustrating more than 60 books under the pen name Dr. Seuss. His most famous works include 'The Cat in the Hat, ' 'Green Eggs and Ham, ' and 'How the Grinch Stole Christmas!' He was a major influence on the modern children's literature and his books have been adapted into numerous films, television shows, and other media.
